Call for Abstracts – ISRE 2026

We invite scholars from all relevant disciplines to submit abstracts for the 2026 Conference of the International Society for Research on Emotion (ISRE) in Brisbane, Australia. The conference provides a unique opportunity to share cutting-edge research, exchange ideas across disciplines, and connect with colleagues from around the world.

Regular Submissions

• Deadline: 21 November 2025

• Length: Maximum 300 words

• Formats:

• Symposia (up to four 15-minute talks and a discussant, or five talks and no discussant = 75 minutes total). We particularly encourage symposia that bring together speakers from different disciplines and institutions.

• Individual Talks (15 minutes each)

• Posters

Late-Breaking Submissions

• Deadline: May 2026 (exact date TBA)

• Formats: Flash talks or posters only

This second round is designed to highlight exciting new research that has emerged since the regular submission deadline. More information about when these can be submitted will be released in early 2026.

Proposals are also invited for pre-conference meetings and workshops. Please submit a one-page PDF proposal directly to the Program Chairs at isre2026@gmail.com.
