2026 Conference of the International Society for Research on Emotion

The International Society for Research on Emotion (ISRE) conference will be held in person from July 11th to 14th, 2026, in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. The University of Queensland, the University of Melbourne, and the University of Adelaide are co-sponsors.

The ISRE conference is an exciting and valuable opportunity to connect with international colleagues, present your latest research findings, and stay up-to-date with the most recent developments in the dynamic field of emotion research. ISRE members come from a diverse array of disciplines, including affective computing, anthropology, art and design, education, history, linguistics, neuroscience, philosophy, psychology, and sociology, making for a rich and interdisciplinary exchange of ideas.

The Australasian Society for Social and Affective Neuroscience (AS4SAN) conference will be held from July 15th to July 17th, 2026, at the Customs House in the Brisbane City Centre. The AS4SAN conference focuses on the latest in social and affective neuroscience (broadly defined) and features keynote speakers and workshops in addition to an exciting research programme.
